mid Illinois | I have got all the clutch adjustments done, and set according to the manual. The shaft brake works just like it is supposed to. All the way to the floor stops the shaft from spinning, and can put it in gear. Master cylinder, and slave cylinder have been rebuilt. I thought I read sometime back where they cut interlocking notches on the shift collars on later models, to stop trannys from jumping out of gear when in a rough field. Could this be the cause? Someone also suggested that the center shaft splines get worn, which keeps it from wanting to come out of gear. You ever heard of this? | |
