Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND | Being you can't shift either transmission or transfer case out of gear, it almost has to be that either the trans brake or engine clutch is dragging and binding up the drive line.
On both my KM 325 Panther series 4 and my old IH semi, I have to adjust the external bell housing to clutch pedal linkage to adjust the trans brake, then adjust the pressure plate to get the correct pedal free play. Adjust the trans brake so it just barely stops the trans when you have the pedal hard on the floor, and adjust the pressure plate until free play is not more than 2 inches. |
