| Bought a used upgraded 707 with the digital readout for press travel limit. It came with all the dies to 1" hose, 1&2 wire, and all the dies for 4 wire hose. Most of the dies were brand new. I like it. It paid its way with 3 emergency hose repairs when no-one was open and weather pushing. I get all the fitting and hose from A-1 coupling and hose. They may have a store near you, I'm not sure. I use the "mega-crimp" fittings and gates hose.
It was a tough sell to the boss till it made its first emergency repair. Now he would'nt be without it,...........and I like it that way.;-)
For fittings styles, I looked at the combine and swathers figuring they were the most important machines and they are jic, so I have quite a few different configurations of jic fittings and just a few basics of pipe. Pretty much everytime I order fittings for a project, I order a few extra. That's how I build up the arsenal. | |
