| I use a spraymate II on my pull type sprayer. I already had two Raven controllers that I use for manure, but for what it cost to buy a raven flowmeter, valve, and cable, I could buy the whole spraymate II. I don't regret it. It's very accurate and pretty easy to program. Micro trak service is excellent should you ever need it. I use a MT 3000 (quite old) on my other sprayer and have had great luck with that, too.
Buy new tips and be done with it. They aren't expensive and then you can get what you want. With the high cost of chem, it doesn't take long to pay for new tips. If you're using a rate controller, it will always be on your target rate ---compensating for worn tips.....however, you might have 20 gpa from some tips and only 10 from others...but the rate will still "average" 15.
Sprayer brand is quite irrelevant. There's never much support after the sale from a sprayer anyway. You can get wheel bearings anywhere and boom problems go to the local welding shop anyway.
