As an 80 YO easterner [horses] what is the difference in "premium" alfalfa and "horse alfalfa"? Besides price? We have had a lousy hay year so far and it looks like some may have to be brought in.
Years ago a lot came in from Canada, but the quality just isn"t what it use to be. I think the 3x3 bales are the way to go, because rounding up 4 or 5 guys to unload is tough. Thanks for any insight or help anyone can give. Bernie Stearns
