Southwest Minnesota | I can change the pitch of the chisel plow front to back so that shouldn't be a problem?
I did experience what you are talking about though last spring when I demoed a chisel plow with 2 coulters on each shank. I found that the harrow needed to be lowered a bit so it would actually touch the ground when running the chisel plow so high.
I definitely would only want to run a couple inches deep.
