I would agree with what is said but would keep the population up around 1.2-1.5 million seeds/acre. This is usally about 120-140# of wheat. We have had good luck with applying 28% and 2,4-d after weeds start growing in early spring. I like early 2,4-d because of the cost, weed spectrum controlled and if your population is good the weed will shade any other broadleafs out later in the season.
