NE South Dakota Clark, SD | Here is my take on this. In the center of the field it looks like you have a stockdam with cattail slough around it that is very green I think if you cropped the non planted portion out of the picture, it would greatly change the values associated to the better part of the field. NDVI and similar ratings are only relative to the area pictured. If you have false high and lows, it affects the planted portion as well. These images need to be cropped to the field only. Very green fence lines and road ditches need to be trimmed out.
