Saranac, Michigan
This spring we started cropping some sandy ground that has a .9 OM. Since getting any ground around here is tough, we decided to try to rehab it. We notill and are planting rye this fall. If we get the beans off in Early October, and then seed rye, will we get much root mass?
We are using a ton per acre of composted chicken litter on corn. Has anyone had any experience with it on beans?
