Subject: need a little help on corn moist. conversion

Prairie Home MO
Went to local coop today to divide landlord corn and my figures and theirs don't agree. Where am I screwing up? They convert to dry bu.. So we had 6666.61 bu of 17.2 corn in our bin. I asked bookeeper to convert to dry and here's how she did it. 17.2% - 15%= 2.2% x .015=3% She rounded to 3%, was really .033%. 6666.61 x 3%= 200bu off for shrink. I usually take my corn moisture coversion table and do it that way. At 15.5% divide by 57.15 = 116.7 bu off or if you use 15% that they are using for dry you would divide by 57.48 = 115.9 bu off. They do take extra shrink for storage but all I told her was that I wanted moisture only. Where am I looking at this wrong? Thanks Robert
