Well I am not quite sure what you are asking. There are two issues most formulas consider when shrinking corn. The first is what moisture to correct to. #2 yellow corn standard is 15.5%, however most areas you can't keep corn in condition at that moisture for too long, so many dry and correct for shrink further. The second issue is what factor to use. Your bookeeper used a 1.5 factor. Theoretically the moisture shrink only is closer to a 1.2. Many elevators use a 1.4 shrink. The higher the factor the less dry bushels you will end up with.

I am not sure what "corn moisture conversion table" you are refering to or what factors they are using. Even correcting to 15.5% and a 1.2 factor gives you 136bu of shrink. That is about the most generous I would think anyone could justify. Perhaps you could post your "corn moisture coversion table" and I can calculate what factors it is based on and if you are reading it right.
