Oklahoma | Thanks. I probably ought to correct myself here. We don't have a problem in crop fields with it. Biggest thing is where it is mixed with bermudagrass. Some people can grazing the mix and manage it pretty good. Others can't seem to manage the mix (or may not be willing to try) so they try to kill the fescue in the bermuda.
Lots of pecan orchards and bottomlands in Eastern OK with Fescue that do really well for hay and grazing. Don't know of anyone that is growing it for seed though.
