Woodham, Ontario | Sounds like you need to get rid of your heston and get yourself a NH discbine, because in 10 seasons i have never run into ANY of your issues.
The discbine cuts better than haybines, especially in bad conditions. Skidshoes have never been an issue for me, have heard complaints about the skidshoes on older case machines, which i believe were heston machines. Never had a bearing fail and there are a couple sealed ones on them, but some are greasable too. Using sharp knives is just common sense... | |
