North East Kansas | We have messed with the tilt a lot now, but it doesn't help the middle of the flex platform. The middle flexes up easily compared to the sides because of the extra weight on the sides. I have the platform set for maximum downpressure. It shaves great in most soybeans, but our best soybean variety has very tough stubble. In this variety the middle always pushes up. It does help a little if I go at an angle. I just don't want to buy this head if it can't do what I think it should have no problem doing. The challenger head was way better, except for the sickle drive. Also, how come you like the combine without the rock trap? | |
