That was beside the DISH problem. I ended up buying another new computer and then losing the SSD drive to DISH. That drive worked fine before I put it in the DISH receiver. It hasn't been a good week.
The information in the article seems to conflict with other information I have received but I'll give it a try as I really have nothing to lose.
One item that caught my attention which was to wait 5-10 minutes before the drive is recognized. I guess I can give that a try. The DISH techs don't seem to be consistent or all that knowledgeable about this situation. I may need to bite the bullet and pay for a service call from the local DISH dealer. Unfortunately my dealer was killed in a car accident some years ago and the local dealer won't help unless I agree to a service call. |
