| America has become a place where people are always looking for the quick fix. We witnessed this with the C19 shots. Products that almost every aspect of them you were told was incorrect. I watched people who wouldn’t take a BP med( outcome studies to significantly reduce stroke, heart disease) when their systolic is consistently 160+, but jumped in line for every shot that was not significantly significant in reducing PCR cases & had higher death in clinical trials.
The best step is take control of your own health through diet, exercise, stress reduction, etc. Pharmaceuticals have their place and can be life saving, but they can also be over used as well. Every situation is different & should be addressed accordingly.
Ozempic- there has not been an effective weight loss medicine that I am aware of yet, kinda like a vaccine for a coronavirus. All have been failures. But, with a overweight population looking for the quick fix, an effective marketing campaign, sales will be strong according to the analysts.
Since the population is overweight leading to higher healthcare costs, would people vote for a politician that mandates you(if you BMI is high) to take Ozempic until what the government says is the ideal BMI? If you do not comply you will be fired from your employment, your free government payment cut off, PPP payments replayed with interest, no cost share on crop insurance, and you might loose your licenses. That is the precedent that was set with little pushback in 2021. | |
