Pittsburg, Kansas | I have found variety causes me to eat more.
For example if I have just a big steak, meat loaf or hamburger meat only on my plate, I will eat a certain amount and quit. I won't feel stuffed like I used to on pizza, etc. But simply have "had enough".
But we usually have something else to add some variety. Usually olives and or pickles. Sometimes a side dish like a cream cheese casserole. With the variety of taste, I may even eat a little more meat than I would have, but definitely will eat the sides in addition to the meat, increasing my calories. Wine will do similar. Just a taste change up.
So I can see where a meat and water only would be good for weight loss. It would be for me anyway. | |
