South Central, Minnesota | We keep track on how heifers are with first calf. If they didn’t have good mothering abilities on their own we just put it in the computer that we keep no heifers out of her in the future. Most we’ve had to run them in the chute was twice to put the calf on them. After that they did fine. At the end of the day they gotta work for you, not you work for them. If an employee is costing you $ they gotta go down the road.
