Sheridan Mi | I don't know what causes some cows to do that. I've had older cows reject their own calves for no apparent reason. I had to pen one old cow with her calf for almost a week one time to get her to take it. It was the only time she ever did it. Another one had her calf right next to another cow calving at the same time. She jumped up and started licking the other calf. She never would have anything to do with her own. | |
