On the bright side if she looks good and calf looks good once she takes it she will bring good money at the sale. Probably worth $1000 to you to spend the time to get her to take it.

I have one lazy cow now. She bedded her first calf down in a snow storm. At that time she was worth like $500 because she is colorful. Let her try again and she had a 100# calf that weaned at 800, but she only goes and feeds it like twice a day. I have a longhorn that mothers is for her so it works out. Won’t be keeping any heifers out of her she seems to get a little better every year, but I still know who’s first on the truck if I need to cull.
