ECIL
The Westminster Divines answered these and many other questions regarding life, the human condition, and belief in Christ. Probably the most exhaustive and concise Confession ever written and had stood the test of time, very few changes have been made since 1647. Vast Scripture proofs as well.

It is written in three parts, the Shorter Catechism, Larger Catechism, and Westminster Confession of Faith. The Belgic Confession, London Baptist Confessions, Canons of Dort are other succinct summaries of the Christian faith and the human condition.

I love the Westminster Shorter Catechism's first question -

Q1. What is the chief end of man?

A. Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and to enjoy Him forever.

Systematic theology at its best, IMO. :)
