God is Holy. God is all powerful. Yes, He can stop all evil. He choses, at this time not to, Why? Because He created mankind, with a different purpose, than the angels, Seraphim ect.
Mankind was created to worship Him through free choice. And, still today, there are those who do.
There is a day coming when the goats and the sheep will be separated. At that time, Evil will be done away with IE... Cast into the lake of burning fire.
This is the very short version. There are multitudes of other things to be said or added to this.
But, A bumper sticker saying that always sticks in my mind is this:
God never sends one person to Hell... Anyone who goes there made that choice on their own.
I would add that if everyone chose to worship and obey God it would prove that we didn't actually have a free choice in the matter. |
