Subject: RE: Beginner crop insurance

Northern Indiana
This s the biggest thing for us. Replant and Prevent plant.

Enterprise unit, and think of it as buying replant and preventive planting insurance on your crops. ETA: individual units you need twenty acres per unit or a total unit to be prevent plant. Enterprise unit you can have ten, two acre pieces and it doesn’t matter.

With crop rotation it takes ten years to get your yield history to reflect a true five year average of one crop on a farm. This has hurt us as our yields are far above the county average.

If we had a total crop failure and had to depend on an insurance claim to pay the bills, we would fall short of our total operating expenses. But we would be able to cover the input costs for the crop.
