Subject: RE: In-line ripping in the spring

southern MN
I plan on chiseling some ground I’m packing down trimming trees now. Better than doing nothing to it and have nothing grow.

If it fits in to a rain pattern, I might chisel up 10 acres that are getting some pen pack on them now. Has a lot of bedding in it and trying to work it with the disk and field cultivator last year was less than ideal. But it’s normal to get good spring rains. So far this winter hasn’t been normal so - we will see this is a maybe maybe not depends on rain plan.

My tiles are running, have all winter. So while it’s oddly lacking of snow here, the sub soil has some moisture left in it.
