Ne Nebraska | Must be decent dirt. That a longer season and higher stocking rate than we run here. We run 5 months, may 15 to oct 15. Avg rent is pry $350-400/pair range. Takes 6-7 acres per pair to get 5 months. As far as price, 5 years ago $10-12k per pair of capacity would have bought most grass. Now it seems more like $15-20k per pair of capacity to buy grass. And add 50% to that number if it has decent hunting potential. So let’s say $18,000 per pair and your needing 6 acres per pair, that grass should go for $3,000/acre. | |
