Yes, most all farmers have their own well.  Around here, no way you could afford to pay rural water for spraying, can't
water cattle either for the price they charge.

Thats not the case around me in southeast South Dakota. About the only wells around me are irrigation wells. Water is awful hard and not very good for spraying or livestock.
