If your rural water district handled the volume of gallons that they do here, you'd probably have rates similar to ours.


Most recent data they have on their website is that in 2021 they had 1987 customers, 817 miles of pipe and pumped over a billion gallons annually.

That's an average of 42,000 gals per month per customer.   And that includes a bunch of residential users.   Livestock usage is what really inflates the gallons.
