I remember it well. Standing in the yard with mom and dad below your bedroom window looking up at the tail of the tornado right above us. I was as scared as I could be wondering why we weren't talking cover. A piece of the roof from the neighbor's silo ended up in our woods. A lot of business in town destroyed including one of my favorites, Sea-Way department store. Xenia is just north of here and a year later there was still a lot of cleanup going on.
