| Very interesting. Observed some incredible toughness among young girls who became skilled competitors in the horse world. If both parents are constantly involved with a girl and rooting for her I can see how that alone would be a great confidence builder. They learn how to cope with injuries (both horse and rider) and disappointments of not winning and find a way to not give up the drive and hope. Of course there have to be more losers than winners and thus learning also to just be thankful to participate should be a great plus. Bonding with the horses is fun. | |
