This is a big issue with state vet boards that are trying to protect their members (vets) when in many cases the fetal imaging techs probably sleeve 20-50x as many cows as the vets do over the course of a year and are really “tuned up/tuned in” the aging of fetuses.
There are good & proficient vets at fetal imaging and also some really inexperienced, non-proficient vets also. There simply needs to be a proficiency test where vets and techs can trial their proficiency and accuracy on the same level so the “bad” don’t practice fetal imaging…… | |
