Well, we don't really have it figured out. But we aren't starving our cows like Jon insinuated. It is definitely a genetic issue. I'd like to be able to test suspect cows and cull them out of the herd instead of putting a pile of money into heifers and then have 50% of them fall apart by the time they are 4 years old.

Thought maybe someone here would have an idea of what to test for.


Test to see which bull the heifers that fall apart are out of. Then cull the bull. Pretty simple.
