Audrain County, Missouri | I bought a Traeger this spring and absolutely love it. A group of us went to the night race a Bristol and took the Traeger along and a buddy of mine cooked the absolute best prime rib I have ever eaten. Cooked it in the rain at around 200 for about 5 hours. Absolutely perfect. I'm going to give it a shot for some special occasions. We also made a Bacon Explosion. It was good, but kind of a disappointment after the prime rib. I really have not found anything that I don't like cooked on the grill.
Our grill has the digital temperature display and multiple temperature settings. Just curious as to what everyone else's temperature runs on smoke? Seems to me that mine runs hotter than it should (215-200). | |
