The diesel also costs alot more money to change oil and other upkeep. They were fun to own when you could fill with farm fuel!! But now I have a gas 2005 Chevy 3/4 ton 4 door gas with a 6.0 and it gets around 12 MPG. I really like it. I don't really tow anything with it except wagons and water and fert carts. Haul my seed in it when I need seed and 4 wheeler and other odds and ends. Maybe could be without a 3/4 ton, But still need a pick-up.
