SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ
I don't think you need a 3/4 ton. I run half tonners and I haul bean seed, pull wagons ect... I run the E-85 version. The mileage drops about 2 to3 MPG but the cost of E-85 is anywhere from .40 to .80 cheaper.
I even put full pallets or Mini bulks in the back of my pickup. Don't break any speed records though. I have pulled trailers with 12000 lbs no problems. Can't go 75 MPH but then 50 seems fast enough loaded like that.
I run e-85 1500 4 dr chevies with the 5.3 L with locking differentials Z71 package. 1/2 tons ride better when empty.
Nothin but bowties.
