| Our '81 had the cathode bars but they were connected to the starter sheet/ring via wires instead of sticking the bar studs thru the bolt holes.So the wires on 9 of 12 cathode bars rusted off=25% of bars working properly=rust spots around 75% of lower structure. Factory auth. dealer for us said rust was due to manure freezing against steel sheets in wintertime.Well duh!!!! It gets cold enough to freeze hard here and s***'s gonna freeze!!!! Whatta buncha scam artists!!!! Blue Doom for sure! See non-factory dealers for repairs. They know what they're doing. | |
