| The models are based on letter's ( the series) followed by a number indicating roughly the GROSS engine HP.
The TM is a middle weight tractor that was originally designed to be a 6 cylinder tractor with the 456 genesis engine.
The TS-A is the half bred Fiat that was introduced probably to debug the new T6000 series. The original TS series was a slight upgrade and styling change from the Ford 40 series... originally intended to be a heavy, high spec 4 cylinder tractor. Dumping the new 411 engine in there has made a bit lighter higher HP tractor... The TS135A should ba 115 PTO rated HP tractor. To be clear, the TS and TS-A are entirely different tractors.
I've never been a fan of the Fiat based tractors, but that's what they're selling now... and I honestly doubt that there is much difference between the TS-A and the TM. The TM was a very light tractor for it's class when it was introduced.
I don't see much in any of them that convinces me to not go ahead and rebuild an old Ford... really.
