dbmaguet was right, that is what the letters stand for- that is what NH told us at service schools. Its a Fiat thing. European manufacturers also like to designate models by flywheel hp. one thing that has changed at NH is that Fiat in their infinite wisdom has slowly been getting rid of the NH managers and replacing them with CIH people, (Fiat apparently likes the CIH business structure more than the NH one. Odd they pick a management that has caused a company to go bankrupt more than once) which probally explains the new model designations. In the future NH will probally start to resemble CIH more and more.
