N/E Iowa
Fred, I've heard they are a good machine, but yes the 9560 (rotor) would be nice............ but don't want to spend the extra $40,000.00 to up grade yet. I farm around 1,100 acres, and was looking at a 9500, but everyone says go take the step up to the 9550 and you'll like it a a lot better!! Are there some different options on the 9550? Like bigger engine. We run a 1688 rite now and want to possibly go green with the dealership being only 10 minutes from home. The "local" case i.H dealer is over 40 minutes from the home place. Plus everything else is green on the farm, I do like the I.H. rotor, easy to set, very forgiving, and the cummins engine seems to be bullet proof..............so far.

We plan on running a 25 foot platform, and a 6 row head, I'm wondering how fast can a guy run with the 6 row corn head, and the 25 foot bean platform, and still do a good job in the field?? I myself am about doing a GOOD job the first time, because I don't want to do it twice!!!
