John, I'm glad you asked that question. I'm using a Samsung that came with the plan when I signed up three or four years ago. It's gotta be on borrowed time. I converted from a bag phone and I've missed the coverage that had. Verizon is our provider.
The problem I have is that I invested in a dash mount for the phone in the truck to get the hands-free use I need where I work in New York. I believe that unit is specific to Samsung. Last time I was in the Verizon store, to update our plan, I didn't see any Samsung phones. I was afraid to ask--will I be out that money, and have to fork out some more if I want to have that convenience with a replacement? I am satisfied with this phone, just worried about the next one. Thanks for all the ideas, everyone. Oliver Durand
