| I water every other row in beans, corn or milo and never switch rows once I get them set. I always let the crop develope a good root system before I begin watering so it better utilizes water that's available.
It depends on your soil type as to how fast if will soak up water and how far out it will soak. I have fairly tight soil, so I run 24- 48 hour sets and do it more often when the crop demands are higher. | |
