It is a rectangular field of 108 acres. 2640 ft. long x 1782 ft. wide. There is a lateral running east to west 1782 feet long. We have pipe on both sides of the lateral with water running north and south at the same time. The well is appox. in the middle of the field. We have 5 risers and a T on the top of each riser breaking the field down into ten sets 178.2 ft long each. Open valve 1 and water 72 rows south and 72 rows north. Every other row would be 36 rows south and 36 rows north. You can simply mover your water to any of the 10 sets by opening and closing valves. Once you have the rows set you are done setting rows for the year. We have a catch pit on each end and pump the catch water back up to the main line to be reused with the fresh water from the well. Law requires that no run off water goes onto neighbors land.
