I agree that by buying their products we are contributing to their buying power. However thats not the whole story. The day that our elected officials allowed the patenting of plants instead of following the established plant variety rules was the day the ball started rolling. And when a member of the Supreme Court refused to recuse himself from a case involving M (despite having worked for a law firm that worked for M) was the next blow. The US patent system may have been adequate 50 years ago, it needs to be redesigned for the marketplace we are currently living in.
Who has 1.5 billion in cash ??
