Nebraska aka the boondocks | This topic reminds me a lot of the trespassing crop tour threads. As another poster indicated there are already laws on the books pertaining to airspace. Thank goodness we had planes before these drones showed up. Also, as another poster said, there are going to be lots of problems, for instance, most folks that buy drones, do not own land to fly them on, thus what will happen??? The word trespassing comes to mind. Will people be content to fly their drones on publicly designated areas, no, what fun would that be. How about the live cameras and or recordings?? That will be fun. All the farmers that are drone happy will find out quickly it isn't so fun when the animal rights groups and everybody and their neighbor can sit and watch everything that you do if they so choose to do so. Time to plant lots of trees. I personally hope that privacy laws are not compromised one iota as the years drag along, just so somebody can play with their high-tech toys. |
