Early corn is the best around here. Corn planted 4/12 looks much better than that planted eaarly May. I don't think we have a record crop, mainly because of the May corn, but shold be in the top 2 or 3. Beans are really tall & that concerns me. Seems beans either yield well or have a lot of vegetation but seldom both. Though this year there does seem to be an abundance of pods. Aain in the next 7-10 days would add alot to the bean size. None of the beans are beginning to turn yet but the early ones are beginning to get that off colored green look that comes just before they start to turn colors.
