Going off memory (iffy at best), I seem to remember using 41# actual N per % of the tank gauge as a estimate when starting out. I believe that was very close for the 1000? gallon tanks. Got very spoiled using the Hinker controller.

I never like running the tank empty cause it really spun up the flow meter when it surged air.

An example: 85% used x 41# per % = 3485# actual N / 100# per acre = 34.85 acres per tank.....
