Bardstown,KY
I plant beans into tall grasses and weeds all the time 36-40in tall.Do it alot in custom work have had no problems ,I rented a farm for the first time this year when I showed up to plant it he told me he had 5 acers behind a barn that I could also plant if I wanted to.It had what we call poison hemlock (spelling?) it was as tall as the roof on my 8300 and thick like you planted it, drilled (750) it and today the beans are at my belt and don't look any different than the rest of the fields. Those weeds are hollow and mash down flat when you plant over them. The worst I have planted into is wild barley about 20in tall down flat on the ground hair pins bad . Do alot of custom work you get to see it all.
