Hagen Brothers farms,Goodrich ND
I planted soybeans into wheat stubble harvested with a stripper header,so it was 24+ inches tall. Thing is,the beans were planted with a 7-1/2 inch spacing 750 drill using only the rear set of openers for 14 inch row spacing. With all the openers of a 7-1/2 inch spacing drill on the ground, the wheat stubble was 99% flat from the opener gauge wheels running over it, so no shading of the beans.
