Martinsville, Ohio
What I did Cotton is I sampled my fields according to soil types and managements zones, sent them to Midwest Labs and just divided the recommendation into an amount of each nutrient for a total bill I can afford each year. I don't short any nutrient but apply it all in an amount I can afford.

You don't need to break the bank putting on fertilizer but you need every nutrient the field is short in.

This enables me to apply a balanced program in an amount I can afford. When I have more money, I spend more on nutrients. It rewards me back in better crops.

Sure is working for us...

Ed
