All of these are high in minor elements, and with his marginal pH, could result in some aluminum, copper, or zinc toxicity for example. While this is usually not the case, again on our caostal plain soils this side of the fall line, when pHw gets below 5.5, we tend to watch our fertilizer sources for potentially high minors, and even heavy metals. You could generate a more perenniel problem with things like that, and one that is much harder to correct. |
