Subject: RE: A Guide to Genetically Modified Alfalfa

Dalton, OH
Just curious what you are trying to get at with this post? I read through the article and all it does is bash RR Alfalfa in the name of organic ag. I could debate a lot of the topics brought up in the article using facts from the other side of things, but I won't waste everyone's time. I will say I do plant some RR Alfalfa here in Ohio and it has worked well. I also am considering switching over to some organic hay production to meet a growing demand. My problem with organic hay in the Ohio area is there is not much of a premium. If their was a 40-50% premium for the hay here, I would switch in a heartbeat, but it is more like 5-10%.
